About
Hi, I’m Smruti Parida.
I build companies at the intersection of technology, operations, and real-world human problems.
I’m the CEO of Finguine.com and also run Keacyte.com, where we work on solving complex workflow and automation challenges for industries that are traditionally underserved by modern software. Before that, I was the founder and CTO of NestAway, where we reimagined urban living for thousands of people across India.
My approach to building products is simple:
- Start with first principles.
- Stay close to users.
- Build systems that compound.
- Focus on execution over noise.
I care deeply about practical innovation. Technology is useful only when it meaningfully improves how people work, live, or make decisions.
These days, my focus is on healthcare, life sciences, AI-driven workflows, and commercial excellence systems through Keacyte. I’m particularly interested in how automation and intelligence can remove friction from industries burdened by legacy processes.
Outside work, I think a lot about cities, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, public systems, and the long-term future of Indian innovation. Occasionally, I share thoughts on startups, execution, and product building on Twitter and LinkedIn.
I’m also a runner, a builder at heart, and someone who still believes curiosity is a competitive advantage.
A few things I believe
- Great companies are built by people who stay unreasonably persistent.
- Execution is underrated.
- Simplicity scales better than complexity.
- Most meaningful innovation happens in unglamorous industries.
- Technology should disappear into the experience.
